Europe united against cancer

The recent meeting between the EUnetCCC and President Roberta Metsola at the European Parliament marked an important political milestone for the Network. President Metsola expressed her strong support for EUnetCCC’s mission and recognised its role as a concrete contribution to Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan and the hashtag#EU4Health flagship initiatives.

This endorsement highlights EUnetCCC as a unifying European effort — science, hashtag#solidarity, and hashtag#cooperation working together for better hashtag#cancer care.

By connecting 163 institutions across 31 countries, EUnetCCC demonstrates how Europe can deliver tangible results through collaboration.

 It strengthens the EU’s strategic resilience in health, reinforces scientific and clinical sovereignty, and proves that EU-funded cooperation can achieve real, measurable impact — from quality benchmarks and shared data systems to improved patient outcomes.

Looking ahead, this momentum will continue at the European Parliament campaign, to be held on World Cancer Day on the 4th of February 2026.

The initiative will celebrate unity and action across Europe, bringing together patients, policymakers, clinicians, and citizens under a single vision:
