On 25 and 26 September, the WP8 collegial interviews brought together clinical and research teams for two days of joint work, combining a guided hospital walk-through with open conversations across services. 

Seeing care spaces and meeting professionals brought WP8’s goals to life: connecting people, processes and data so that every patient experiences one coherent pathway from diagnosis to survivorship.

Patients as partners: meaningful feedback and co-design, with practical changes driven by what matters most to patients and caregivers.

Research at the bedside: clinic–academic teamwork that shortens the distance from idea to care and expands access to innovation.

Nurses at the core: leadership, training and locally authored protocols that make everyday care reliable and safe.

System learning: coordinated guidelines, digital tools and regional links that help services act as one pathway across the network.
