We are excited to bring together experts from across Europe for the EUnetCCC WP8 Task Lead Team Workshop, taking place on February 27-28, 2025, at Oslo, University Hospital, Norway.
This workshop is conducted by WP8 Leads, including Dr. Delia Nicoară (IOCN), Per Magnus (OUS), Eva Jolly (Karolinska), Peter Naredi (Sahlgrenska), Ingrid Jenny Guldvik to (OUS), Kristina Olausson (Karolinska), and Nina Nicoara (IOCN), who will guide discussions on key strategies for strengthening Comprehensive Cancer Centres (CCCs) and fostering collaboration across Europe.
Key topics on the agenda:
Enhancing personalized cancer prevention strategies
Advancing precision cancer diagnostics
Improving the use of clinical data for research & monitoring
Developing comprehensive survivorship programs for cancer patients
Strengthening governance, organization, and leadership in cancer care
As part of EUnetCCC, a four-year EU project uniting 163 partners across 31 countries, this workshop directly supports the European Beating Cancer Plan’s goal: ensuring that by 2030, 90% of eligible patients have access to high-quality care at a CCC.
This event represents another step toward collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and impactful change in European cancer care. Looking forward to productive discussions that will help shape the future!
